Diversity Policy: Promoting, Practicing, and Benefiting from Diversity

UZH makes every effort to promote diversity and prevent discrimination. With its Diversity Policy, UZH has signaled its commitment to diversity as a core value. The policy also enables UZH to foster a diverse and inclusive environment in research, teaching, studying, self-organization and administration for its students and staff.

The Implementation Plan for the UZH Diversity Policy went into effect on 1 September 2019, which outlines a concrete approach for implementing the Diversity Policy’s strategic principles. The Implementation Plan defines diversity and inclusion goals and outlines strategic and operative measures for achieving these goals. In addition, it indicates which groups at UZH are responsible for implementing the plan’s measures.
