LGBTQIA+
The EDI Office addresses LGBTQIA+ matters as part of its service mandate. It bases its efforts on UZH’s Gender Policy Code of Conduct, which states: “Nobody may suffer negative consequences due to their sex, gender identity or gender transition.”

LGBTQIA+ Staff Network
A network has existed since March 2024 for UZH staff who are part of the LGBTQIA+ community. This network enables and encourages LGBTQIA+ community members to meet and interact with each other. It regularly provides information about informal events and activities.
