Code of Conduct — Campus Life
The Code of Conduct for Campus Life is based on UZH's core values and principles and is valid for all members and guests of the university. It promotes a positive, discourse-oriented campus culture.
The Code of Conduct (CoC) Campus Life was developed by an internal working group on behalf of the President and Deputy President and approved by the Executive Board and the Extended Executive Board of the University. The working group consisted of staff from the departments for Communications, Safety, Security and Environment, Human Resources, Legal Services and Data Protection, as well as faculty experts from the disciplines of ethics and politics. The working group was led by the President's Services and the office for Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion department. The presidents of all Representative Body Associations were also involved in the process.
The CoC Campus Life emphasizes the following principles of UZH:
- We are a responsible community.
- We value and uphold integrity.
- We demand and champion respect.
- We support and advise members of the UZH community.
