The Office for Equality, Diversity, Inclusion (EDI) looks back on a successful year 2025: We were able to take many important steps this year, as illustrated by the selection of milestones below. We thank all UZH units and external partners who made these successes possible and contributed to them. We greatly appreciate your collaboration.

Our 2025 Milestones:
- We launched 2025 with a new corporate identity and a new website.
- Since April, we share a social media presence with the Sustainability Hub on LinkedIn and Instagram.
- In June, the gender equality monitoring showed that UZH had reached a milestone with 30 percent female professors.
Facts and Figures - The PgB P7 project EDIxUZH also started in the middle of the year.
EDIxUZH - The UZH Accessible project was successfully moved into the implementation phase.
UZH Accessible: Implementation and monitoring - The Code of Conduct – Campus Life, which the EDI department helped to develop, was published in August 2025.
Code of Conduct — Campus Life - Also in August, the Executive Board of the University decided to join the Allianz Digitale Inklusion Schweiz (ADIS).
UZH is the first university to join the Allianz Digitale Inklusion Schweiz - We have successfully conducted several events, such as event series on accessible UZH, an internal training on diversity-sensitive communication, and the first event in the "We do care" series.
We do care – Impulse für Hochschulangehörige mit Pflege- und Betreuungsaufgaben (German, one Event will be held in English) - The pilot projects on gender-neutral restrooms and menstrual products in UZH restroom facilities have been successfully continued and expanded.
UZH becoming an EDI Campus - At the end of the year, the new diversity-sensitive communication guidelines for communication in German were published.
